Each tray is shaped slightly different and patients graduate throughout treatment, switching the trays every one to two weeks until the desired results are achieved.
How Invisalign® works: your treatment process
The trays must be worn 22 hours a day but can be removed during eating and your at-home oral hygiene routine. Dr. Hagerty strategically tracks your alignment progress during appointments, making sure you are compliant with wearing your trays. Once finished, retainers will be fabricated to maintain the new position of your teeth.
How long does Invisalign® take?
Because no two plans are alike, treatment length varies. Most of our patients are able to achieve the desired results within 12 to 18 months.
